Great idea to have an automated garden during the winter. Recently ordered the second system. There is a slight problem though – noise, which is appears after couple of weeks and is noticeable even few rooms away. This product is noisy. There is a constant hum. It’s supposed to be plugged in for 17 hours a day, but the noise can be irritating. If you buy it, put it in a place where the hum will not be noticed.

These tabs work very well. I’ve had my Monster Herbs growing since late December ‘08 and can hardly keep up, as well as my Humongous Chef Salad mixture. The basil varieties, Parsely, Chives and Mint are going crazy and the romaine/mesclun/baby greens are happiest with these extenders.

So I got this as a gift for my dad who was originally from England and missed the English gardens. I followed all of the instructions on the kit and yes, the flowers started to grow! I would recommend this product.

This is by far the best AeroGarden plant we’ve grown so far…especially if you want to watch something grow fast.
Though a recent power outage threw off the timing of our AeroGarden…and I had to get out of bed to “turn the salad” off at night.

This is the second set of pods I bought. I have never realized better than 50% germination on any kit. However with my initial purchase of the AeroGarden I had 100% success, so I bought another one.

The system was easy to figure out and my plants started growing quickly. The kids are excited about growing our own food and herbs.
