Lids are perfect. It’s nice to replace ball jar lids with these after you’ve opened a jar of jam.

These lids are not water tight, and consequently useless. I am the guy you go to when you need someone to open a tight jar. The problem is not that I am not tightening enough.

This looks exactly like what I’m looking for, but no where, either on this site or on other sites, do they give the width across the top of the lid in inches. I’m looking for a 4″ lid, but nothing anywhere describes these as anything but “wide mouth” or regular. Can someone help me out with this please? Only 4″ will do for the glass jars I already have.
